GoCheck Kids is a pediatric vision screener that uses a smartphone. It combines photo screening and visual acuity to detect Myopia, Hyperopia, and Anisometropia risk factors in children to prevent vision deterioration and to ensure that developmental milestones can be achieved. While early detection is considered the best preventative approach, less that 15% of preschool children receive an eye exam and fewer than 22% of preschool children receive some type of vision screening.
