Big Contract Changes Happening Now

Merck's PCV15 vaccine, Vaxneuvance, is now a competing vaccine with Pfizer's Prevnar 13 and Prevnar 20.  Vaxneuvance was recently approved for Pediatric use.  Please review our contract options moving forward:

Starting January 1st, 2023 PracticeWell Members have the choice to remain on the Pfizer contract for Prevnar 13 & Prevnar 20, or to remain on the Merck contract for all of the Merck manufactured vaccines.  Pfizer and Merck have compliance commitments for each contract, so PracticeWell Members will no longer be able to participate on both contracts.

1. If you would like to remain on the Prevnar 13 & 20 contract with Pfizer we will unlink your account from the Merck contract for all of the Merck vaccines.  This means that you will no longer receive contract pricing for all Merck products.  To remain compliant on the Pfizer contract, please do not purchase Vaxneuvance from Merck.
2. If you would like to remain on the Merck contract for all of the Merck vaccines, we will remove your account from the Pfizer contract for Prevnar 13 & Prevnar 20.  This means that you will no longer receive contract pricing for Prevnar 13 & Prevnar 20.  The replacement vaccine is Merck's Vaxneuvance (PCV15).  To remain compliant on the Merck contract, please do not purchase Prevnar 13 or Prevnar 20 from Pfizer.
3. If your organization has multiple locations, you can choose the contract you want to use moving forward for each location.

It is very important for us to know which contract you would like to use moving forward. As soon as possible, please contact us by phone or email to let us know if you would like to keep your PracticeWell PBG account linked to the Merck contract for all Merck products (do not order Prevnar and start using Merck's Vaxneuvance PCV15), or if you would like to keep your Pfizer account linked to Prevnar 13 and Prevnar 20.  The choice is yours!  We are available to answer any questions you may have.
